Edwards has expanded its range of nEXT turbomolecular pumps with two larger models that provide faster pumping performance and excellent compression ratios for longer cycle times and lower ultimate pressures.

Burgess Hill, England–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Edwards has introduced two new models of its nEXT turbomolecular pump range, the nEXT730 and nEXT930, which combine nitrogen’s 730 l/s and 925 l/s s Pumping speed increased to nEXT series.These pumps are ideal for customers who require increased performance, improved cycle times and reduced operating pressure.The pump can run in any direction, is flexible in use, and has never been easier to install with its compact design and integrated controller.
Since its first launch in 2012, nEXT has proven itself in many applications by end users and OEMs, with pumping speeds ranging from 85 l/s to 400 l/s, and has shown Edwards to be a reliable partner for mechanical turbomolecular pumps.The introduction of larger nEXT730 and nEXT930 variants will extend the family’s strengths to new application areas, including specialty coatings, as well as other areas such as heat treatment, furnaces, electron beam welding, ion implantation, degassing and cylinder evacuation.These pumps are further supported by the standard protection rating of IP54.
The new nEXT730 and nEXT930 are fully compatible with Edwards TIC and TAG controllers and have the same control and monitoring capabilities and interfaces as the existing nEXT series.They are also fully compatible with Edwards Support PC software for monitoring, configuration and control options, making it easy to system into any new or existing vacuum system.
