Vacuum insulation panels for construction

The Chinese government has spent $14.84 billion on green building projects as it focuses more on reducing building pollution.
It also spent $787 million on green building materials for specially designated renewable building projects.
In 2020, the government designated new public procurement projects in six cities of Nanjing, Hangzhou, Shaoxing, Huzhou, Qingdao and Foshan as pilots for the use of new renewable construction methods.
That means they will require contractors to use technologies such as prefabrication and smart construction, according to the People’s Daily, China’s state-run newspaper.
Prefabricated construction technology can significantly reduce the amount of pollution generated during construction.
Technologies such as building buildings that can insulate heat in summer and cold in winter have improved energy efficiency.
For example, Harbin’s Eco-Tech Industrial Park aims to reduce carbon emissions by 1,000 tons per year compared to a typical building with the same floor area.
The thermal insulation materials for the exterior walls of the project buildings include graphite polystyrene panels and vacuum thermal insulation panels to reduce energy consumption.
Last year, the Xinhua News Agency reported that the total construction area of green buildings in the country has exceeded 6.6 billion square meters.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development plans to formulate a five-year plan for urban and rural living environment planning to ensure green development.
China is the largest construction market in the world, with an average of 2 billion square meters being built each year.
Last year, the National People’s Congress said it aimed to reduce carbon dioxide emissions per unit of gross domestic product by 18 percent between 2021 and 2025.
